Day 1 Arrival Dhaka
You arrive at the airport in Dhaka and transfer to your hotel. You will have the time to first take some rest before making a first acquaintance with the capital in the afternoon.

Dhaka, the Capital of Bangladesh, founded in 1608 has an exciting history and rich cultural heritage. It is intersected by the rivers Buriganga. The total area of the city is approximately 1400 sq. km., with a population of 15 million. It was adorned with the glory of being the capital of the region when it was successively under the Mughal and the British rules. It used to be known as the city of mosques and is called the city of rickshaws. These days it looks chaotic with more vehicles running and building constructed, but the "chaos" is not a decadent one, it is rather solely positive. Paintings on buses and rickshaws are of people's dream, and the city is really bustling.

You visit the Lalbagh Fort, a 17th century Moghul palace that day is an oasis of tranquility in the city today. Especially popular as a meeting place of the local youth. Although the majority of the population is Muslim, there is also room for a Hindu temple Dhakeswari Temple. A first encounter ends in the shopping mall Newmarket. Here's everything for sale and there is a cozy atmosphere. On the top floor of the textile department is very colorful and photogenic. Here the cloths and old-fashioned dress with blocks are fitted with their pattern.
Day 2 Dhaka
Today you acquainted with this immense city, which bustles with life. Dhaka is a chaotic city full of people and endless rows of rickshaws, cars, taxis, motorbikes, bicycles, street vendors etc etc. The 'rickshaw capital of the world' will take care of many jams; I also particularly patience and be amazed about how everyone finds its way. Of course you visit today Sadarghat, where the boats sail in and out to bring people and goods to the other side of the river. You make a boat trip on the impressive Buriganga River, the bustling lifeline of the city, to see it all up close. Furthermore, inter alia the Star Mosque, the Pink Palace and Hindu Street on the program. In short, an overwhelming amount of colors and scents where the Indian subcontinent is so famous for.
Day 3 Dhaka – Tangail
After visiting the bustling city you today to explore the countryside. We drive to the village of Tangail, located about three hours drive from Dhaka. Here we stay in a guesthouse of the organization Ubinig as well as supporting sustainable agriculture also community based tourism projects intent to assist in supporting the villagers of Bangladesh as their livelihood. In the village you will learn about the activities of this organization and village life. You see how various crafts still performs the traditional way. The bike is perfect for such a ride through the countryside.
Day 4 Tangail – Dinajpur
In the morning you go to the train station of Tangail to get there on the train to Dinajpur. Along the way you look in your eyes in the train and to the surrounding landscape. After an hour or eight trips will arrive in Dinajpur.
Day 5 Dinajpur – Bogra via Kantanagar and Paharpur
In the morning you drive to one of the most remarkable Hindu temples in the country, the Kantanagar temple, built in 1652 by the Maharaja of Dinajpur. The temple is an hour drive away and is one of the finest examples of terracotta architecture in Bangladesh so common. The walls of the complex known beautiful images of gods, humans, animals and floral motifs. The makers had a special fantasy resulting in particular sculpture. Continue to Joypurath for a lunch stop. Then visit one of the cultural highlights in the northwest of the country Paharpur. The Buddhist monastic complex dating back to the time of the Pala dynasty (7th-12th centuries). The ruin complex is nice and quiet in a rural area and was the largest Buddhist structure south of the Himalayas. Greater than, for example Borobodur in Indonesia.
Day 6 Bogra – Rajshahi
After breakfast depart for Natore to see Uttara Ghana Bhaban, an ancient royal palace. Next stop is the beautiful temple city of Puthia. Between the green and along the shores of several lakes / ponds are water here several Hindu palaces from the 16th century by the Raja of Puthia. The palaces are again built in terracotta and beautiful contrast with the green surroundings. Many decorations and in the buildings; in Bhubaneshwar Shiva temple is the largest lingam of the country. This is the most remarkable structure of this beautiful town palace. Especially here that one of the sites only share with the colorful people who cheerfully inquisitive or playing (children) watch. After the visit we drive to our overnight spot Rajshahi; a major silk production center on the border with India. Of course there is the possibility to see a silk factory and the process of caterpillar to side view close. In the evening you can stroll along the Padma river.
Day 7 Rajshahi
You will visit the area of Rajshahi. You visit the located near the border, mosque Choto Sona, the Darasbari mosque and madrassah and Khonia Dighji mosque. You make a lunch stop in Chapai Nawabganj. Then return to Rajshahi and visit there the Barendra Research Museum, Rajshahi is a major silk production center on the border with India. Of course there is the possibility to see a silk factory and the process of caterpillar to view side closely. In the evening you can stroll along the Padma river.
Day 8 Rajshahi – Mongla / Sundarbans
Early in the morning you drive about four hours towards Kushtia. Here you will visit the mausoleum of Lalon Shah and the home of the famous poet Tagore Rabindaranath. Of course, time is made to attend a musical performance. After lunch drive to Mongla, another long stretch drive of 7 hours. In the evening you step aboard the boat to begin the cruise through the Sundarbans.
Day 9 Sundarbans
The Sundarbans is the world's largest mangrove forest. You will find an exotic wildlife, including the Bengal tiger. The Sundarbans even has the highest tiger density of all the national parks in the world. Almost 10% of the wild tigers live in the Sundarbans, where they are notorious for devouring the regular people who live here! Besides tigers, there are more than 300 species of birds, otters, monkeys, crocodiles, deer, boars and river dolphins. Along the way during the trip you can get off several times and walks.  

The boat takes you through the major rivers and the smaller canals. Early in the morning, take a cruise on a small boat to sail through the smaller channels. Even today you will walk through the jungle. The rest of the day the boat through the Sundarbans direction Chandpai.
Day 10 Sundarbans – Gopalganj via Mongla and Bagerhat
In the morning you wake up in the Sundarbans and visiting a fishing village. You will then cruise back to Mongla. After lunch drive in an hour or two to Bagerhat, the mosque-city of the country. This town protected by Unesco has several specific mosques of the Middle Ages. The most special and beautiful is the so-called '60 -koepelige mosque '; Shai this Gumbad mosque has 77 domes and actually looks like a fortified fortress. You will visit the mausoleum of Khan Jahan evenens Ali and several other 15th century mosques such as the 9-koepelige mosque and smaller mosques with one dome. The mosques are located in a beautiful rural setting and because there are many pilgrims there is always something to do.
Then you drive a half hour to Gopalganj where you sleep in a hotel.
Day 11 Gopalganj –Manikganj
Continue your journey through Bangladesh to Manikganj District. Around lunch time you come here. Overnight in a guesthouse. In the afternoon visiting some villages of woodworkers.
Day 12 Manikganj – Srimongal
A travel day taking you to Srimongal, the "tea capital" of Bangladesh. The town is surrounded by hills, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. Visit the Lowacheera Forest reserve and of course several tea plantations. Overnight at one of the tea plantations.
Day 13 Srimongal
In the morning you drive to the Lowacherra Forest reserve. Here you will walk through the jungle and visit a village of the Khastia and Tripura tribe. In the afternoon you will meet the Monipuri tribe, visiting a village and learn more about the life of this "hill tribes".
Day 14 Srimongal – Chittagong
After breakfast drive to Chittagong. En route visit a war cemetery and the Buddhist monastery Mainamati (8-12 century AD) about eight km. to the west of Comilla Town. It earned its name after the Chandra Dynasty King Govinda Chandra’s mother name. There are about 50 sites in the area, of them Salban Vihara is the most massive built monastery including other interesting sites like, Kutila Mura, Itakhola Mura, Rupban Mura, etc. The site museum will introduce you to a fairly large variety of antiquities.
After a visit you will have lunch in Comilla. In the evening you will arrive in the port city of Chittagong.
Chittagong with a picturesque hinterland of large green hills and lakes is the second largest city of the country and a busy international seaport. It has many industrial establishments too.  Its green hills and forests, broad sandy beaches and fine cool climate always attract holidaymakers. It combines the hum of a seaport with the pleasure of a charming hill-town with its undulating topography. Places of tourist attraction in Chittagong city are as follows: - Shrine of Bayzid Bostami, World war-11 Cemetery, Foy’s Lake, Ethnological Museum, Court Building, Patenga Beach, Chatteshwari temple, Sitakund, etc.
Day 15 Chittagong – Rangamati
In the morning you will visit Chittagong and ports where shipwrecks are dismantled; an impressive sight to see how huge ocean tankers to be taken apart with bare hands. In the afternoon you drive to Rangamati, located more to the Kaptai. Here you can visit some Buddhist temples and monasteries. Rangamati is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Bengali and for good reason; it is beautifully situated on the Kaptai lake.
Day 16 Rangamati / Kaptai Lake cruise
You make a boat trip on the Kaptai lake. You sail through a gap to visit Subalong and meet some tribes on the islands in the lake. One of those is the Chakma tribes, who also run a small restaurant where you have lunch. Late afternoon return to Rangamati where you can visit the local market.
Dag 17 Rangamati – Bandarban
You will drive south via the Arakan Highway, through the mountains of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, towards the tribal market-city of Bandarban. This is approximately a four-hour drive. Here you can wander around the cute little city with its market, the Golden Temple and the Meghla Lake. 
Day 18 Bandarban – Teknaf
In the morning you explore the area by jeep and visit the village of Marma and Chimbuk hill. You will visit villages of the Burmese tribes sounding the Murong and Bawn. In the afternoon, continue south towards Teknaf, six hours away. Teknaf is the southern gateway to the country and border town with Burma.
Day 19 Teknaf – Saint Martin’s Island
In the morning you take the ferry (three hours) to Saint Martins island, a tropical paradise surrounded by coral reefs. There are no roads, rickshaws, cars, only palm trees, fish markets, beaches and a few turtles.
St.Martin’s Island is a small island with a population of  about 7/8 thousand people and they depend on fishing  directly or indirectly. There are beautiful corals on the south-eastern corner of this island. The water around this Island is emerald green and always invites one to join for a relaxing bath. It will be possible to snorkel here, if you carry your own snorkeling gear. This trip will be tenacious and rough to some extent and participant should note it while joining the trip.
Day 20 Saint Martin’s Island – Cox’s Bazar
In the morning, still lounging on the island before noon again take the ferry back to Teknaf. Once there, drive to Cox's Bazar, about three hours away.
Cox’s Bazar is located on the South Eastern part of Bangladesh. Panwa, the yellow flower was its early name. After Lieutenant Cox kept his footprint and administered the area and the name turned to Cox’s Bazar. Having the world’s longest unbroken (120km) beach, sloping gently down to the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal against the picturesque background of a chain of hill covered with deep green forests. The area has the influence of the Rakhaine tribes and there are many Buddhist temples and pagodas. The fish market with variety of sea fish, rare conch shell, the colorful and unique culture & costume of the Rakhaine is a matter of attraction.
Day 21 Cox’s Bazar – Dhaka
In the morning you will visit the town of Cox's Bazar, the Burmese market and the fish market. In the afternoon you will fly back to Dhaka.
Day 22 depart Dhaka
